Two timers are available and can be set either one of the two or both:

Rental timer:

this timer refers to the rental period, a certain number of days/hours the battery is leased to a third party, not depending on the usage of the battery.

The battery starts counting immediately when the timer is set and when the counters expire it stops.

When the timer is set, in the App Standard screen two new information are visible:

1

Rental Time Left

residual rental time in days and hours. This timer counts down, no matter if the battery is in use (or has been used) or is still unused.

When this timer expires, the battery stops discharging.

In the example, the battery can still be used for 8 days and 10 hours.

2

Rental Usage Counter:

this is just for information purposes. It counts up the amount of hours/minute the battery has been used during the rental period.

Please note that the usage time refers only at the time the battery is releasing power, not at the time the battery is in stand-by or in charge.

In the example, the battery has been used so far 2hours and 30 minutes.

Rental usage timer

this timer refers to the amount of pre-programmed working hours. The battery counts down only when the it  is releasing power, and not in stand-by or charge: when the counter expire the battery stops.

When the timer is set, in the App Standard screen a new information is visible:

1

Rental Usage Time Left

residual usage time still available in hours and minutes.

In this example the battery can power devices for a total amount of  18 hours and 30 minutes, then is stops.

In some case both the two timers can be set at the same time. If this happens, they count down independently and the battery locks down only when the first of the two reach zero.

In the example:

the battery can still be used for 8 days and 10 hours, or it can release power for a total of 18 hours and 30 minutes.

Expired timers

When any of the counter reaches zero, the caption "EXPIRED" is shown beside the related counter (see 1  below).

At the same time, when any of the timers expire:

  • the battery is locked and stop releasing power)
  • the locked icon appears in all the main screen
  • the blinking LED change color to red.

showing the same effects like when the battery is protected by purpose.

These timers however, once generated and sent to the battery are protected and cannot be halted even if the Wi-Fi module is switched off. They can eventually be extended (even remotely through the App), if the battery user needs to.
